Change: End of a Legacy

Ted Kennedy's seat, which had become vacant with the longtime senator's passing late last year, has been won by a Republican.

The Democrats had talked widely of change, and now they appear to be getting what they had wanted -- in principle rather than in reality.

With Chicago-style politics running the White House and stretching its arm and sickle toward city and state governments throughout the land, balance has been sorely lacking. Depriving the party in power of their vise-grip sixty-seat lock on the senate is key to reining in the party of the McGoverns, the Carters, the Kennedys, the abortionists, the peace mongers, those who would repeal US sovereignty, those who would remove our right to keep and bear arms, those who despise the Constitution, even those of every fruity entity from the far left.

Welcome to the US Senate, Mr. Scott Brown. May you serve our country well.
