Thanks to the horribly biased media machine, subsidized in large part by foreign interests, this is what you are going to get when the dust finally settles:
A federal homosexual marriage amendment; free speech, including free expression of religion and free expression of ideas via talk radio, crushed by the Fairness Doctrine; higher taxes further crippling the economy; open dialog with America's sworn enemies, which will lead to further appeasement and weakening of our stature abroad, thus emboldening nations whose goal it is to rid the world of the United States; possible loss of American citizens' gun rights; unfettered abortion on demand, at all stages, even the barbaric procedure of partial birth abortion; hate crimes legislation and all of its terrible ramifications; defunding of the mighty US military, along with the type of gutting of the US Armed Forces that we saw under Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton, if not worse; premature withdrawal of US forces from the Middle East which will leave Iraq open to attack by Iran; withdrawal of support of Israel; economy-crippling regulations designed to further the global warming agenda, an inexact and unproven science that targets the United States; permanent bans on domestic oil drilling. And I'm sure I have not covered all the bold Democrat aspirations by a long stretch.
The super majorities in the House and Senate will ensure that every bill sponsored by liberal Democrats will meet with insufficient opposition to stop them.
This is the United States we will wake up to on January 20, 2009.
The time for secession is now. The time for civil war is now. This is no longer my country, and I speak for millions of disenfranchised Americans. The nation has taken a hard left turn toward communism, and we must refuse to be absorbed into their bleak apparatus without a fight, if necessary, to the death.
The America of the next four years will be a mere echo of the America of the 1980s. But the new, seceded America will be everything the late, great United States was in the WWII era, and much more. Freedoms will be restored, and big government will be a thing of the failed country left behind.
The only glimmer of hope we have at this point is for the electoral college to refuse to cast their votes for Obama on December 15 should he fail to demonstrate his eligibility to ascend to the office of the presidency by not producing a certified valid birth certificate.

Well you said it all here Rob. I and most true patriots, Christians, and the well informed are hanging our heads tonight.
I think America was no longer America long before this election. Her people are soft and ungodly. Self-serving, hateful, and lost. Seeing the map of the US tonight with all of its blue, made me sick to my stomach. Yes, America was dead before tonight. This just solidified it. The people will get what they asked for and in time will be on their knees begging for God to help them back to liberty, but it will be too late. They threw God out a long time ago and he won't return. Soon, he will scoop up his remaining people and take us all home.
It did make me take a step back and notice that I still am all that I was before they announced the results. I still have my family, my pets, my health, my happy heart, my humility, my compassion, my love, my soul.
I don't know how I'll bear watching American go down to rock bottom. I pray God will somehow keep me at peace and will open new opportunities for us. I will trust in him completely. May God give you peace in your heart as well.
