Initial Post

I'm pleased to be finally joining the blogging community.

I have written a novel and am searching for a publisher. In my spare time (spring and early summer, of course), I take a few weeks off and chase storms -- hence the name (no kidding!)

It's nice to have a venue in which to vent in a basically unrestrained way. But wait! As soon as the Powers that Be figure out what we're up to, and as soon as the not-so-Fairness Doctrine is enacted (God help us), they'll surely come after this last vestige of free speech, that forgotten anachronism of decades gone, one of the cornerstones upon which this once-great land was founded.

Until then, we have a podium!

Here I will include not only pictures of tornadoes and other severe weather, but I will voice my views on life, religion, people, and anything else that crosses my mind.
